User licenses may be applied, tracked, and managed via the User Admin dialogue. Here's how:
- Click to open the More Options menu in the left navigation.
- The More Options menu opens. Click to open User Admin.

The User Admin dialogue opens. Click on the License Counts button to open the License Count dialogue.
This presents a detailed view by license type of: Seat Limit (the number of licenses your organization has purchased), Used (the number of licenses that have been applied), and Available (the number of licenses that have not yet been applied). Any overages will be displayed in red. These numbers are updated automatically as new users are added to Moovila or as the license type of existing users is modified.
The license types are as follows:- User Seat (formerly Full License): Grants full functionality and is the only type of license which can be assigned a security role. Any user with the previous contributor license will be upgraded to a User Seat.
- Integration Seat (formerly Profile License): These licenses are only available for MSPs using Moovila PSA integration users who need view-only access in Moovila. May be assigned tasks, but are unable to add/edit/update information. Can see time entries, Smart Schedule, and notes. This license type may not be assigned a security role.
- View Only Seat: Access for stakeholders and executives who do not need to interact with the platform. May view projects and tasks. Cannot add/edit/update information in the platform or be assigned work. This license type may not be assigned a security role.

Guest Seat (formerly Extended User): This option allows users from outside of your organization (vendors, clients, etc.) to view and participate in projects. These users may be assigned tasks and edit/complete them. They have a limited view of columns. Read more about these restrictions in Understanding Guest User Data Visibility. This license type may not be assigned a security role.

To manage the application of user license types, first add the License Type column to the display if it is not already present. Click on the Column Selector icon in the menu and click to display the License Type column.
- The License Type corresponding to each user will display. Click into the column to modify the license type applied. As applied license types change, the counts in the License Count dialogue will update as well.
- By default, users will be assigned a User Seat license when added via the Moovila User Admin dialogue. An Integration Seat license will be applied when users are added via a third party system (like ConnectWise or Halo PSA).
- Deactivated users will be deducted from In Use license count totals.
