Adding Appointment Panels to Dashboards

Appointment panels are available in all dashboard areas (Tasks, Project Portfolio, and Projects).

  1. Click the Edit icon to get started.
  2. The dashboard shifts into Edit Mode. Click the Add Panel icon.

  3. The Dashboard Panel Editor opens. Click on the dropdown menu to choose a panel type.
  4. Select from the following options for Appointment Panels:
    1. [Custom Panel]: Build an appointment dashboard panel from scratch using the custom filter settings (owner, project, status, appointment start date, appointment timing, and resource type).

    2. Preconfigured Appointment Panels: Choose to add a panel displaying My Upcoming Appointments (appointments that are open and not overdue) or My Overdue Appointments (only those appointments which are overdue). This limits the scope of data displayed in this panel to your own, but you do have the option to modify the timeframe for the appointments.

  5. If the panel will be displayed in a Data Grid format, you will have the option to choose which columns are included. Click on the Column Selector dropdown menu and select or de-select the columns which will display.

    These fields are highly recommended:

    1. Schedule Dates Combined: Displays the scheduled date and time for the appointment as well as an alert icon indicating the health of the appointment.
    2. Appointment Timing: Provides details around any issues surrounding the health of this appointment and indicates steps that may be taken to remedy the issue.
    3. Task Start/Due Dates: Shows the dates in which the task is scheduled to begin and end, and may also indicate if the forecasted dates align if this feature has been enabled.
  6. Click Apply to add the panel to your dashboard, then click Save again to save the dashboard.
Note that while appointment information may be reviewed in dashboard panels, it is read only.
