The Appointment Log is available at the project level and displays all appointments for that project.
Here are the key components of the Appointment Log:
- Filter Panel: This area indicates which filter criteria have been applied to the appointments. Click on the panel or the Filter icon in the right corner to modify the filter criteria based upon Resource, Resource Type, Status, Project, Appointment Timing, or Start Date.
- Group: Appointments may be grouped by Category, Cost Code, or Resource Type.
- Column Display Settings: Choose the columns that appear in the Appointment Log. Columns may be dragged and dropped to change display order.
- More Options: In this menu find options to reset columns, export, or print the Appointment Log.
- Row Expander: Click to allow row height to increase to accommodate appointments with long text threads (typically the description column).
- Open Smart Schedule: Opens the Smart Schedule and displays all appointments associated with the project that you are currently in.
- Appointment Listing: Each line item in the Appointment Log is a separate appointment.
- Appointment Timing: Contains information regarding the health of the appointment as well as any barriers to the appointment's completion. Clicking on the Appointment Timing column opens the Smart Schedule for that specific appointment.
- Schedule Dates Combined: Displays the scheduled date for the appointment, the scheduled time and an icon indicating the health of the appointment (this icon aligns with the further detail provided by the Appointment Timing column).
- Appointment Smart Schedule: Click to open the Smart Schedule to adjust scheduling for this specific appointment.
- Task Start/Due Dates: Shows the Start and Due Dates for the task that the appointment is associated with. If the feature is enabled, this column will display the forecast dates for that task as well, making it clear if the task is on track for on-time completion or might impact timing on the appointment.
- Schedule Start/Due Dates and Times: The columns for Schedule Start Date, Schedule Due Date, Schedule Start Time, and Schedule Due Time indicate the exact timeframe for the appointment. These fields may be modified directly, as if the appointment log were a spreadsheet. If changes are made you will be prompted to save them. The Appointment Timing and Scheduled Dates Combined columns will update immediately, reflecting the impact of the changes on the appointment health.
