There are two ways to check the sync status of projects between ConnectWise and Moovila: at the enterprise level and at the project level.
**Note that if a project is archived in Moovila it will no longer sync with PSA integrations. The sync may be reenabled if needed, after the project has been returned to an active status (not archived).**
- To check sync status at the enterprise level, click on the More Menu icon in the left navigation.
- The More Options menu opens. Select the Integrations option.
- The Integrations dialogue opens. Click on the ConnectWise PSA tile.
- The ConnectWise integration dialogue opens, displaying the following information/functions:
a. Domain: This displays your enterprise's domain and is a hyperlink that will take you to your ConnectWise instance. b. Logs: User-facing Integration Logs and API Request Details give those managing synced projects the insight into when ConnectWise API requests do not succeed as well as when the integration performs an action which that should be surfaced to an end-user. Learn more at ConnectWise: Integration Logs. c. Quick Filter: Type into this field to filter the projects displayed in the Project Sync Status listing. d. Group by Project Board: By default, projects will be listed in alphabetical order. If your organization has many projects, you may wish to group them by project board to more easily process the information displayed. Click this checkbox to view the Project Sync Status listing organized in this way. e. Show Disabled: If projects have been disconnected from ConnectWise and are no longer syncing, they will be removed from the Project Sync Status listing. To display these projects as well, click this checkbox. f. Show Archived Projects: By default, projects that have been archived within Moovila will no longer be displayed in this listing. Click this checkbox to include these projects.
g. Disable Integration: This disconnects connectivity between Moovila and ConnectWise, disabling all projects at once. h. Moovila Customer Name: The name of the customer associated with the project as it appears in Moovila. i. Moovila Project Name: The name of the project as it appears in Moovila. j. External ID: The project ID within ConnectWise. k. Last Sync Completed: Displays the date and time of the last data import into Moovila from ConnectWise. l. Sync Status: Displays the status of the sync listed in the Last Sync Completed column. The possible values are: - Idle: The sync is not processing and no trigger is outstanding waiting to be processed. This is the only time when the manual sync button is enabled.
- Requested: A trigger has occurred, but we are waiting on the next eligible sync time
- In Queue: A sync request is eligible and in line to be processed
- Syncing: The sync is actively occurring
m. Logs: Click to view a detailed listing of the sync events for projects. n. Enabled: Click to enable/disable a project's connection to ConnectWise. o. Sync: Clicking this sync button forces a data push from Moovila into ConnectWise and vice versa. This may be useful if there is a lag and updates have not appeared in one of the systems. p. Disconnect: Click to disconnect this project from ConnectWise. This project may still be edited/managed in Moovila, but data will no longer sync to update the project within ConnectWise, and vice versa. q. Advanced Settings: Via Advanced Settings:
- A Miscellaneous Data Sync may be performed, pulling data fields such as Company, Company Status, Note Category and Work Type. These fields are not pulled with a manual data sync, but are regularly synced every ~4 hours.
- The Import Schedule Entries without Dates setting may be activated or deactivated. Having this box checked will allow the integration to import Schedule Entry records from ConnectWise which are missing the start date, end date, and hours values. By default, this will be unchecked.
- The Sync User Status from ConnectWise setting provides the following:
- When Checked: Moovila will automatically update a user's status based on their status in ConnectWise. For example, if a user is marked inactive in ConnectWise, they will also be marked inactive in Moovila.
- When Unchecked: Moovila will not sync user status from ConnectWise. This allows you to manage user status independently within Moovila, regardless of what’s set in ConnectWise.
- The Auto-Disable setting for projects may be modified. By default, any project that has been marked with a status of "completed" or "cancelled" for 90 days or more will be automatically removed from the auto-sync process, essentially pausing the sync of that project.
r. Save: Click to save any changes to the configuration.
- To check sync status at the project level, navigate to the project in question. Click on the More Menu icon in the upper navigation.
- The More Menu opens. Click on the ConnectWise Sync and Info option.
