ConnectWise: Modifying the "Auto-Disable Sync" of Projects

In order to optimize performance, projects that have been marked with a status of "Cancelled" or "Completed" for 90 days or more will have their sync to ConnectWise automatically disabled. This is a setting that can be modified to best suit the needs of your organization. To update this setting:

  1. Go to the More Options menu in the left navigation, and select the Integrations option.

  4. The Advanced Settings dialogue opens. Here, the number of days that precede the auto disabling of projects with a status of "Closed" or "Cancelled" may be adjusted. Click Apply to save settings, then Save in the overall configuration screen.

  5. There are two ways reactivate the sync of a project which has been automatically disabled. It's important to note that in order to remain activated, the project will either need to be moved to an "active" status (Planning, In Progress or On Hold) or the number of days before which the project is auto-archived needs to be adjusted in settings (as described above) to a number of days greater than the number in which the give project has been in an "inactive" status. The first place to reactivate is in the ConnectWise Integration Configuration dialogue, by checking the Enable box in line with that project.

The second is in the project itself, by clicking into More Options in the upper navigation.

Next, select ConnectWise Integration Information from the dropdown menu.

The ConnectWise Project Sync dialogue will open. Click the checkbox in the bottom of this dialogue to reactivate the sync.
