Version 12.0 - Release Notes

Here's an overview of what has changed in the latest release (made available March 23, 2021):

New + Improved

  • Time Tracking and Resource Planning Functionality:
      • Timecard: Time can now be tracked in Moovila against specific tasks via the timecard
          • Via several access points within the platform users can clock in and clock out, or switch between tasks
            2021-03-22_17-12-43.png
      • Time Log: Users can add manual timecard entries to associate time with a task that was not captured via clocking in and out. These manual entries display in a distinct format so that they can be easily distinguished from standard timecard entries

        • The Time Log displays a listing of all timecard entries and manual timecard entries that a user has rights to view. This listing can then be narrowed down via filter criteria including users, entry type, date range, project, cost code, date created and whether the entry was modified. In the Time Log columns can be added or removed from the view as well for further customization
        • Data in the Time Log can be grouped by user, project, cost code, and type
        • Time Log detail is available for export in spreadsheet format or printing
        • Time Log data can also be found in new dashboard panels allowing users to keep a close eye on timecard entries

    • Labor Resources: Default rates and average fully burdened costs can be added to labor types via Data Table Management section of the application by users with appropriate permissions. These Labor Resource Types can then be assigned to users, allowing improved financial tracking and capacity planning

  • Dashboards:
      • Layouts: Users can now save custom layouts for their task, project and project portfolio dashboards, and easily navigate between them. Layouts combine user defined panels allowing for organization of data and for specific areas of focus to be captured in different views

      • These layouts can also be published as templates for sharing within the organization (user permissions will be applied to dashboard data)
      • Custom Panels: In addition to “out of the box” panels that allow for personalization, users can now add completely custom panels to dashboards. Custom panels allow users to filter to a specific data set using extensive relevant filter criteria then identify how the data should be displayed (chart or grid) and apply any necessary calculations

        • Skills and Certifications:

              2021-03-15_19-22-55.png
            • As a part of the Delivery Ecosystem, required skills can be reconciled with those available to gauge resource availability for upcoming opportunities and projects.
            • Smart Partner Selection: When a new opportunity is added, the list of available partners will automatically filter to show a preferred listing of partners who hold the necessary skills and certifications associated with the product to be implemented.
        • The Project Portfolio can now be grouped, sorted, and filtered by partner
        • Capacity by partner can now be viewed as well as a partner's average mPIX score for their project portfolio

    • Customer-Based*
        • Custom panels to track opportunities are available in the Tasks dashboard, and data can be organized by partner, owner, customer, estimated close date, status, and stage. In addition to these data points, opportunities may be filtered by product, changed date and created date
