Troubleshooting the DuckDuckGo Extension

A known issue exists in Moovila wherein the pages/functionality listed below will not open in the application. 
 

  • Chat functionality through out the app
  • Resource Menu:
    • Timesheets
    • Approve Timesheets
  • Project Import
  • Project Add/Edit
  • Customer drop down
  • More Options Menu:
    • Integrations
    • Invoice Packaging
    • Reports
    • Data Table Maintenance > Customers
    • Enterprise Settings > Wage Type Configuration

This is caused by the DuckDuckGo Chrome Extension. The issue can be resolved by disabling the extension. Here's how:

  1. In the Chrome browser, click on the Extensions icon in the upper right.

     
  2. The Extensions menu opens. Click on the More Options icon next to the DuckDuckGo listing in the dropdown menu. 

     
  3. Select Options from the dropdown menu.

     
  4. The DuckDuckGo Options page opens. Scroll to the bottom and find the "Unprotected Sites" section. Click the Add unprotected site link to proceed.

  5. Enter the URL for your Moovila instance as an unprotected site. Refresh Moovila upon returning to the site, and all functionality should perform as intended.
