Moovila Version 44.0 was released on February 25, 2025, EST. The following updates are available in this release:
-
HaloPSA Schedule Sync:
- Moovila Scheduled Events and HaloPSA Project Ticket Calls that are part of synced projects will now be synced bi-directionally across systems. Learn more about the details of how fields map between the two systems here.
-
Smart Schedule Integration for HaloPSA: HaloPSA calendar details have been integrated into Moovila’s Smart Schedule.
- Data from all Top-Level Appointments, Tasks, Holidays, as well as Project and Service Ticket Appointments are now pulled in to provide a single integrated view within Smart Schedule.
- To turn on Smart Schedule for HaloPSA, open Layers and select Scheduled Events: HaloPSA
- Purple schedule items represent synced Project Ticket Appointments that are synced with Moovila. These appear as “Moovila Appointments.” These appointments can be edited or rescheduled directly within Smart Schedule.
- Blue schedule items represent Appointments, Tasks, or Holidays not directly related to a synced project in Moovila. These can be used as reference points to allow for more accurate scheduling of project ticket appointments, but they are read-only.

-
Resource Capacity Integration for HaloPSA: Halo data is now integrated into Resource Capacity as well, providing an all-inclusive resource capacity view.
- This data can be pulled into Resource Capacity via Filters > Appointment Data > Halo PSA.
- A source tag in Resource Capacity will indicate which data has come from Halo. It will also include the resource, times, and work associated.
- This data can be pulled into Resource Capacity via Filters > Appointment Data > Halo PSA.
-
Autotask Smart Schedule Performance Enhancement: A new option is now available within Autotask Smart Schedule under Autotask Appointments called “Exclude Details. This setting is designed to improve performance for organizations experiencing slower load times in Smart Schedule. Smart Schedule must make multiple API calls to Autotask in order to retrieve and append detailed ticket information (such as Task/Ticket Name, Customer Name, and related metadata). These additional calls can impact loading speed.
- When “Exclude Details” is enabled, Smart Schedule will reduce the number of API calls
made to Autotask by omitting ticket/task names and associated detail data. Blocked time from Autotask appointments will still be visible, but without the additional descriptive fields—resulting in faster load times and improved responsiveness.
Without "Exclude Autotask Details" enabled:
With "Exclude Autotask Details" enabled: - This setting can be enabled or disabled at any time based on your organization’s
performance needs in the Layers menu of Smart Schedule.
- When “Exclude Details” is enabled, Smart Schedule will reduce the number of API calls
-
Risk Register Updates: Several changes have been made to enhance the user experience within the Risk Register. These include:
- "Category" is now the default grouping method. Modifying the grouping now updates settings so that the grouping used is retained the next time you navigate to the Risk Register.
- Default column selections have been updated to provide the most critical information by default.
- Two new fields have been added for Risk Description & Risk Notes to allow for additional detail to be provided for each Risk Item
-
An “Expand rows to show all text” option has been added so that, when used, all available text for a risk item will be displayed.
-
Additional Changes and Enhancements:
Due to limited usage across the platform, the Global Search function (located in the top-left corner of Moovila) has been removed from the user interface.
Please note that the quick filters within each section of Moovila remain fully available and should be used for efficient searching and filtering within their respective areas.
-
Inactive Teams and Inactive Users will no longer show in the Teams/Users dropdown in the main Smart Schedule Navigation.
- A warning indicator will now appear next to the “Enabled” status when the integration configuration for HaloPSA or Autotask is not fully complete. This may occur, for example, when new features are introduced and users are required to revisit and complete steps within the configuration wizard.
- An issue was resolved where the Billable Balance column displayed an incorrect value after navigating to the Time Log and returning to the project view.
Minor Releases and Hotfixes:
- 2/26/26: This minor release was a infrastructure build change for Vision and another infrastructure change for autoscaling of Task Search.
-
2/26/26 (Hotfix): There were two hotfixes deployed on this date. The first updates Risk Register name and description to display full content properly when the "expanded rows" feature is on. The second partially resolves an issue where Vision name changes were not showing up on the Task Power Grid or Task Detail views.
