Version 28.1.61744, released June 9, 2023 EST.
The following new features are available in this latest release of Moovila:
- Attachments, Cloud Storage, and Link Sharing:
-
SharePoint is now available for connection to Moovila, and has been consolidated into a single configuration with OneDrive for a seamless experience. Both cloud storage options may be accessed via a single selection menu.
-
Enterprises can choose which cloud storage options they wish to enable for their users. These integrations will live in the Integration Hub, and can be easily found using new search and filter functionality in this dialogue.
-
An additional option is available within the Attachments area that allows users to paste a URL link as an attachment.
-
- Dashboard Enhancements:
- Dashboard panels may now be exported from both Portfolio and Project Dashboards.
- In Expense Dynacharts for expense and labor quantity, billing code is now a grouping option.
- Duplicate / Move Phase: Moovila now allows for phases to be selected from various projects or templates, and brought into a single project without removing them from their original location. Additionally, users may specify the exact location for placement of the copied phase.
- Cascading Delete: Users may now delete phases, sub-phases, and tasks within a single function. Deletion may occur at the root level--essentially removing all phases, sub-phases, and tasks from a project. Before deleting at the root level, users will confirm that they intend to delete all phases/sub-phases. Note that projects connected to ConnectWise will not currently permit deletion at the root level.
- Teams Creation Permission: The new permission ”Can Create Teams” grants users the ability/access to add teams within the platform. Users without this permission will no longer see the option to add a team via the Add Button in Project, Portfolio, or Teams views.
- Auto-Accept Assignments: Via Enterprise Settings, Moovila admins may apply the “Auto-Accept Assignment” setting. When selected, all tasks, teams and project assignments will default to accepted. A notification will still be sent to the user, and they will still have the opportunity to reject the task if needed.
-
Additional Updates + Enhancements:
-
Legibility has been enhanced for Phases in dark mode
-
Within Approve Timesheets, Timesheets, and Invoice Packaging, users may now save default filter settings. The default time filter is now set to Last 90 days.
-
Logic has been applied when moving a phase or tasks to do the following: If the cost code or billing code group on the task differs from the new target project, it will be cleared from the task.
-
Hot Fixes:
- 6/15/23: When enterprise auto-accept is On, team invites are now properly auto-accepted. ConnectWise integration is no longer creating duplicate users in Moovila for synced users that have their email updated in ConnectWise.
- 6/16/23: ConnectWise project import forms project dropdown is now populating as intended.
- 6/20/23: Tasks are no longer duplicated in ConnectWise projects if the rate limit is hit.
- 7/6/23: ConnectWise false fail notifications no longer result in multiple task creation.
- 7/12/23: Timecard Notes maximum character length extended to 5,000. ConnectWise integration now permits the flow of unassigned tickets into Moovila.
- 7/13/23: Cost Code Groups or Billing Code Groups are now being cleared appropriately when copying phases/projects.
