Version 34.0 - Release Notes

Version 34.0.68588 was released April 12th, 2024 EDT.

• User License Management:  In this version Moovila has introduced the ability to apply and manage user licenses from within the User Admin dialogue via a new column.

  • Admins may access a total count of the licenses purchased for their organization in User Admin as well. As license types are assigned to users in the platform, the license counts will adjust accordingly, resulting in easy reconciliation.
    
  • License types available are:
    • Full User License: These users have complete access to Moovila functionality, although their permissions are still based upon the security role applied to them by system administrators. 
    • Contributor License: Users can access and view projects and tasks to which they've been assigned. They can update, edit, and add time to their tasks, but cannot add new projects or tasks.
    • Profile License (formerly known as the Analytics License): This license is for users who need to be synchronized with outside systems and/or users who want the ability to log into the platform to view work they are associated with, but in a view only state (no edit capabilities). For outside system PSA users, these primarily will be the users staying solely in ConnectWise, HaloPSA, AutoTask, etc.

Other Updates + Enhancements:

• Tasks marked as Cancelled or Complete will no longer impact RPAX scores based upon the following criteria: Missing Duration, Missing Work Estimate, Missing Dependencies, and Excessive Duration.
• Task Step counts now display accurately in the Tasks area.
• Tasks with completed predecessors are now shown as intended in the Task area.
• When a task is marked "complete" in ConnectWise, its percent complete is updated to 100% in Moovila.
• Tasks added from ConnectWise with notes associated will continue to display those notes at the task level in Moovila.
• Completed and Cancelled Tasks are now filtered out of Update Timeline views but can optionally be selected if desired.
• Interproject dependencies can now be set to milestone tasks.
• Note count indicators showing incorrect counts has been addressed.

Hotfixes:

• 4/19/24: A Japanese translation update was applied.
• 4/30/24: Additional logging was added to the security container.
• 5/2/24 (Version 34.1): 
  • Project Connection Visibility for ConnectWise Integration Users:
    
    
    • Users that have access to the More menu options within a project (Project leaders) will have additional visibility into the connection of the project with ConnectWise. 
    • These users can review last imported/exported dates along with manually starting a sync process (this is the same action as integration managers going into the ConnectWise configuration and selecting Manual Sync).
  • Defer to Default values have “--” indicators to ensure the text stands out further from the standard values.
    
  • The standard overview page for the ConnectWise configuration now includes the ConnectWise External ID for the project instead of the project name.
    
  • Simplification for auto-mapping function. 
• 5/3/2024: Consistency of RPAX scores between back and front ends has been resolved.
• 5/9/2024: The following updates have been made with this hotfix:
  • Implied mapping for non-billable time entry options to address the issue of switching between Do Not Bill & No Charge values.
  • Added the following required permissions for CW permission check: Close Project Tickets and Close Projects.
  • Additional safe measures have been applied to further ensure that data is flowing properly between systems without issue.
  • Further steps have been taken to support real time resourcing.
• 5/16/2024: Automated Task Work Estimate now updating as intended. 
• 5/17/2024: Update made to Moovila's backend to ensure a smooth transition for ConnectWise integration customers transition from on an premises solution to a cloud solution. 
• 5/22/2024: Additional back end API endpoints added to Moovila.
