Version 33.1.67764 released January 31st, 2024 EDT.

  • Workspaces: Multiple column views are now available in Tasks and Project Power Grids, allowing you to customize, save, and quickly view specific columns, ordering, and sorting. Workspaces can be found in the Tasks and Project Power Grids via the main menu. Learn more here.

    • A default set of workspaces has been created to serve as a starting point.
    • Users will have the ability to create and save their own workspaces, and those with permissions to do so will be able to publish those workspaces for use by others in the organization.
    • Users with permissions to publish their workspaces will be able to select from which locations their workspaces may be accessed: from all locations, Tasks, Projects, or Project Templates.

  • Duplicate FROM Project Option: An additional option will be available within the More menu of projects to allow the ability to duplicate and move tasks or phases FROM projects and/or templates. Learn more here.

    • This will allow users to stay within a singular project and pull in phases from outside templates/projects, reducing the administrative burden for those users who create “shell” projects then need to pull certain phases in from multiple templates.

    • Phases and/or root projects may be multi-selected. Please note, if individual phases are selected within a project, those phases will be copied on an individual basis and will not contain dependencies connected to other phases. In order to keep the full dependency structure between phases, the parent phase must be selected.

  • Scheduled Events Filter for My Tasks area: Within My Tasks, an additional filter option has been added, allowing users to limit the tasks displayed to those for which they are the owner OR on which they are assigned a scheduled event.

  • ConnectWise Integration - Note Mapping + Configuration Improvements:

    • In the ConnectWise configuration dialogue users will have the ability to make specific mappings between note types in Moovila and ConnectWise.
      • Existing clients will not be required to go back through this configuration, but they may if they wish to make explicit mappings vs. the mappings that were made using naming conventions.
      • Automapping will also be made available with this release, allowing users to:
        • Create note categories in Moovila when new note categories are detected in ConnectWise.
        • Pre-fill mapping recommendations based on exact name matches between the systems, reducing the configuration time.
      • A new concept has been implemented which allows users to choose an overall default value when mapping within the ConnectWise integration configuration. The default will be what is implied for each line item. Clients may choose to ONLY map the items they want to have an explicit mapping association.
        • This new default setting has been moved to the top of the mapping dialogue for an easier workflow.
      • Within the ConnectWise Integration dialogue, Moovila will now present a warning indicator if an enterprise is below the minimum ConnectWise version requirement. This will ensure that all enterprises are operating with a version containing the most recent PSA API fixes in place.

Other Updates + Enhancements:

  • RPAX scores for projects with a "Complete" status are no longer updated with timeline-based evaluations.
  • Users with Cost Visibility rights are now able to view Cost Rate and Total Cost values in the Time Log.
  • Budget and Finance module column headers have been re-named to increase clarity.
  • Bill rate logic has been optimized for consistency regardless of where time entries are created.
  • Tasks may now have a team assigned, even if they do not have a task owner. From the Project Power Grid, team is now a dropdown selection option which may be added via the Column Selector.
  • Time Clock functionality is now working as intended.
  • Project Name and Sub-Title length have been expanded to 255 characters.
