Moovila Release v.29.0 - ConnectWise Integration Reenablement

The addition of new functionality requires some configuration updates from our ConnectWise integration users to reconnect the two applications. The Company Type Selection configuration is required to reenable the ConnectWise integration (see the first set of instruction below), the Bi-Directional Time Sync updates will only require set-up if your organization will be using this functionality.

ConnectWise Company Type Selection

• Overview
  In the ConnectWise integration set up, a new tab is available for “Companies” which will pull in the Company Types from the connected ConnectWise instance. The Company Types that are selected will determine the pared down listing of available companies (referred to as customers in Moovila) that can be selected to apply to a project during sync. 
  
  Moovila customers will be automatically mapped to a ConnectWise company for any ConnectWise project imported. When a Moovila project is pushed to ConnectWise, users will select a ConnectWise company to map for that project from a dropdown menu.
  
  
• How to Set It Up
  • Open the More Options menu in the left navigation and select Integrations.
    
    
    
  • Select the ConnectWise Integration tile.
    
    
    
  • The ConnectWise Integration dialogue opens. Click on the Companies tab to configure. Select the Company Types whose companies you wish to make available for selection for association with projects in Moovila. Click Save to proceed.
    
  • Click on the Overview tab, and click the Re-Enable Integration button.
    
    

ConnectWise Bi-Directional Time Sync

• Overview
  Enterprises using the ConnectWise integration with the time entry sync enabled will now have time bi-directionally synced between ConnectWise and Moovila.
  
  
  
• How to Set It Up
  • First you will need to adjust your Time Rounding setting in Enterprise Settings. Navigate to Enterprise Settings via the More Options menu in the left navigation, and select Enterprise Settings from the menu.
    
    
    
  • Set the Round Time Entries dropdown to 1 minute. Click Save to proceed.
    
  • Return to the Integrations dialogue via the More Options menu. Select the ConnectWise Integration tile.
    
    
    
  • The ConnectWise Integration dialogue opens. Click on the Time Entries tab to configure. Click the Enable Time Entry Sync checkbox and add the Resource Type Mappings for both the Moovila to ConnectWise and ConnectWise to Moovila syncs. Click Save to continue.
    
    
    
  • Click on the Overview tab, and click the Re-Enable Integration button.
