New features in this version of Moovila are as follows:

  • Enhanced Budgeting:
    • Intelligent Budget Control

      Tools that highlight any needed changes in the budget and allow you to address them, keeping your project finances on track.
      • Identifies risks to project budgets (shifting prices, unbudgeted hours added to the project plan, etc.) and provides suggestions on how to resolve them.
      • Allows visibility into over-allocated tasks and provides intelligent recommendations for increasing quantities or unit costs.
      • Provides an approval process to address budget items that may need to be added after the top-level budget has been defined.
    • Task-level budgets may now be rolled up to consolidate line items per resource or cost code
    • A Task Allocation display shows all tasks with associated estimates, top level budgets by resource type and average unit price calculations. Not-allocated tasks with assigned work hours will be flagged in this display.
    • Fields have been added to track allocated quantity, unallocated quantity, allocated cost, and unallocated cost in the project's Power Grid view.
    • New Portfolio Dashboards are available to show total estimates from both task- and top-level budgets, as well as actuals based on work/resources.
  • Drag and Drop to Edit Dates in Timeline View
    From any project’s Timeline (Gantt) view, drag and drop functionality has been added to allow full phases and individual tasks to be extended or shortened by dragging to increase or decrease length as needed.

  • Improved Chat UX/UI
    • Ease of use for Moovila's chat functionality has been improved via enhancements to the design layout.

  • Other Functionality Improvements:
    • Salesforce integration has been further developed, offering a more seamless experience between the two platforms.
